Epicurean – The Crown Hotel Sydney, Sydney, Sydney CBD
  • I dare say that I have found the best buffet you can get in Sydney as December 2021
  • Located in the recently opened Crowne hotel/casino precinct all the way down the end of Barangaroo, it sits on level 5 of the building amongst other gourmet restaurants (I hope to visit them later!)
  • The service, the view, the food – everything is amazing and particularly so given that we went whilst COVID measures were still in place.
  • The place is booked out months in advance so I recommend getting in early if you want to try this place – we ended up having to go for a lunch booking because it was so busy. The lunch menu is a bit cheaper than dinner and I think the menu items may also be a bit different
  • Price is not cheap (it was more expensive than usual during December) but it is definitely worth it in my opinion when you take into account the setting, the freshness of the food, range of food and everything else you’d expect from a top tier buffer
  • I will let the pictures below speak for themselves (note that I only took photos of the interesting items – the actual items are much more expansive than this!)
