Short Stop, Barangaroo, Sydney CBD
✦ Barangaroo is the new CBD area to the West of the CBD (past Wynyard)
✦ Along with multiple new office blocks, it also has a DJs, a big park and loads of restaurants and cafes
✦ One of these is Short Stop – the famous donut shop from Melbourne now in Sydney
✦ They offer 2 types of donuts, the traditional yeast donut and a donut which is more like a cake consistency
✦ The flavours are pretty unique and the taste and texture unlike any other donut I’ve ever had
✦ Not cheap for a donut but worth it as an occasional treat
Early grey and rose cake donut – $5 – donut soft, glaze sweet but not overly so. You can see the rose petals in the glaze which has a subtle earl grey tea taste. Amazing.
So many options but we only got to try one!
